The story behind HusBen Industries

HusBen Industries started as a problem I couldn't find a solution to. My Evo's climate control unit failed and I quickly discovered there was nobody in New Zealand specialising in these units. Generic auto electricians weren't interested in trying to repair mine, second-hand units almost never came up for sale, and when they did there was no way to know if they worked.

So I figured it out myself. What started as fixing my own unit turned into fixing units for other Evo owners in forums and Facebook groups. Word spread, demand grew, and eventually it made sense to formalise what had become a proper specialist service.

The name HusBen Industries comes from my wife's nickname for me — a mashup of 'husband' and 'Ben.' It stuck.
